We have implemented a global human resource development program to ensure the men and women working in Nippon Express both in Japan and in overseas locations gain greater management skills and logistics knowhow.
Since 1994 each air service base of Nippon Express has obtained an ISO9001 certification with a view to improving our services and standardization. In regards to the ISO14001, The Baraki Center at the Tokyo Air Service Branch earned an ISO14001 certificate for the first time in June 1998, and has since been followed by five other bases in March, 2000, and two in March, 2001.
Nippon Express has received AS9120 certification, based on the quality management system standard for the aerospace industry, for seven locations in Japan and the U.S. We offer high-quality transport, storage and other services on a global level to customers involved in the aerospace industry.
Japan Customs approved our company to be the first Authorized Bonded Warehouse Operator in Japan in recognition of our highly competent management capabilities. We ensure enforcement of compliance management to enable accurate warehouse operations.
Nippon Express U.S.A. became the first Japanese company to receive a Class A certification from TAPA in May, 2003. Currently 17 locations worldwide have been granted this certification.
Our company has always been actively engaged in enhancing security measures by obtaining TAPA certification at each of our overseas bases. We are committed to continuously increasing security to win the full trust of our customers as well as pledging thorough cooperation in terror prevention.
