Continuous Marine Transportation Services Consolidated in Singapore Bound for India
We implemented continuous consolidated transportation services bound for India on a full-scale basis in December, 2007 and the entire process is handled by the Nippon Express Group.
We consolidate cargo bound for India from Tokyo, Nagoya, Kobe, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Bangkok together with those bound for other Asian regions and then ship to Singapore. At the warehouses of Nippon Express Singapore, we divide cargo into groups according to destination, New Delhi and Chennai, and transship them. After arriving at India, Nippon Express India, which was established in April 2007, is responsible for the domestic transportation. As such, the Nippon Express Group consistently ensures safe transportation until cargo arrives at the final destination.
Being the sole courier enables us to prevent damage caused by transshipment. Moreover, Nippon Express India has the advantage of being able to efficiently clear customs and arrange domestic transportation within India, we are able to supply a trouble-free transfer service and reliable tracing information concerning cargo bound for the inland city, Delhi.
