Nippon Express USA, Inc. (NEU), Los Angeles Air Cargo Branch, is located two (2) miles from Los Angeles International Airport Cargo Terminal. Other than regular forwarding services, NEU/L.A. provides several services that not many forwarders has in L.A. area. They are:
1. U.S. customs bonded "Container Freight Station" (CFS)
A. Open: 24 hours/7 days.
B. pick up cargo from carrier (s) within three hours of arrival.
2. Climate controlled rooms and walk-in cooler rooms are available to handle temperature/humidity sensitive cargo and perishable cargo.
3. Security systems to monitor both inside and outside of building with ISO security and safety trained staffs.
4. Distribution, packing/re-packing, storage, inventory system, and in-house pick-up and delivery services.
A. Air-ride trucks and trailers are available for safe transportation.
B. Aircraft parts handling for major aircraft carrier and manufaturer.
5. Able to arrange truck services from U.S. to Mexico.
6. In-house customs brokerage services.
7. Small package services.
