Import gateway service called ETA (East Cost Time Advantage) is launched as of March 8th, 2004 which can provide customers half to one day sooner delivery. The ETA service consists of re-forwarding import cargo on the east coast operating out of JFK. This process includes 7-day non-stop operation of bulk break, pre-file customs brokerage, bar-coded manifest operation and midnight warehouse operation. Imported cargo is picked up from JFK Airport and delivered by truck to customers in most major cities from Boston to Charlotte.
