Nippon Express named No. 1 air cargo agent in the Philippines for second consecutive year
13 December 2002
For the second consecutive year, Nippon Express' local corporation in the Philippines, Nippon Express Philippines (Atsushi Ogawa, President), has been recognized as the Best Forwarder of the Year at the Second Cargo Industry Awards, a ranking of international air cargo forwarders in the Philippines sponsored by Global Cargo Carriers, Inc. (GCCI).
Comprised of 35 airline companies that fly in/out of the Philippines, GCCI was established to promote the development of the air logistics industry.
The initial screening for this year's Cargo Industry Awards narrowed the field of 365 companies engaged in international air cargo business in the Philippines to 81 candidates, after which GCCI member airlines voted on Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards in five different categories to determine the Best Forwarder of the Year.
NE Philippines earned Gold Awards in both Customer Service and Operation, Silver Awards in Quality and Logistics, and Bronze Awards in Finance, and was consequently selected as the overall "Best Forwarder of Year 2002."
Winning for the second time running since the award was established in 2001, NE Philippines has again been confirmed as the country's No. 1 international cargo forwarder.
Nippon Express will continue its efforts to provide customers with high quality.
