Our New York Air Branch at JFK has been granted a TAPA Class A license.
We are the first Japanese freight forwarder and the 4th among all worldwide air freight forwarders to be certified by BVQI, the accreditation organization.
TAPA standards are considered to be the benchmark in today's world for the highest level of practices surrounding security and safety in the handling of "Technology Assets".
With the high volume and compact nature of computer-related components and miniaturized peripherals, cargo theft in this part of our industry is a worldwide problem. TAPA has been established to protect these products.
Manufacturers have come to expect TAPA compliance from their providers. These TAPA-certified facilities can offer a lower risk of theft and can be more competitive with lowered premiums on theft insurance. They are also helping to enhance security in the transportation industry as a whole.
