Aid for the victims of the Great Sumatra Earthquake

Nippon Express Co., Ltd., and the Nippon Express Group have decided to make contributions totaling 20 million yen to the Japanese Red Cross Society via Nippon Keidanren (Japan Business Federation) to support the relief efforts for victims of the earthquake that struck off the coast of Sumatra, Indonesia on December 26 of last year and the subsequent tsunami that battered coastlines throughout the Indian Ocean.
The Group also plans to seek donations from the individual Nippon Express Group companies in the Asian region as well as from Group employees worldwide and contribute these funds to the relief efforts as well.
