April 18, 2006 - Nippon Express uses an index-based surcharge that is adjusted monthly.Changes to the surcharge will be effective the first day of each month. Applicable Fuel Surcharge for May is as follows:
- Us Average: 17.0%
- East Coast Average: 17.0%
- New England: 18.0%
- Central Atlantic: 18.0%
- Lower Atlantic: 16.5%
- Midwest: 16.5%
- Gulf Coast: 16.5%
- Rocky Mountain: 17.0%
- West Coast: 18.0%
