ISO 9001 (Quality)
Since 1994 each Nippon Express air service base has obtained an ISO9001 certification with a view to improving our services and standardization. Our Corporate Auditors regularly conduct audits and in addition, we continuously improve our business operations by data collection and detailed analysis of our daily business, and the identification of our customers' needs. Furthermore, we try our best to prevent recurrence and to always improve our high quality through corrective measures enforced internally as well as externally.
With regard to our overseas subsidiaries, Nippon Express UK was the first Japanese forwarder to obtain certification. Since then, our local subsidiaries in more than 10 countries/regions have followed suit.
We will strive to improve our services to win our customers' satisfaction, and increase the quality of our service by exploiting the knowledge that we have gained.
ISO 14001 (Environment)
Nippon Express earned ISO14001 at the Baraki Center of the Tokyo Air Service Branch in June 1998, which was followed by five bases in March, 2000, and two in March, 2001. In addition, we are striving to have other divisions than just the air service receive a series of ISO certifications.
