AS9120 Übersicht
AS9100 ist eine Norm für Qualitätsmanagementsysteme für die Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie. Basierend auf ISO 9001 bietet AS9100 zusätzliche Anforderungen für die Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie. Nippon Express erhielt die AS9120-Zertifizierung, ein Zertifikat in der AS9100-Serie für Logistikunternehmen, Pass-Through-Distributoren, Handelsgesellschaften und andere nichtverarbeitende Einheiten, die in der Lieferkette in der Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie tätig sind.
AS9120-zertifizierte Distributoren erhalten das Privileg, auf Unternehmen in der globalen OASIS-Datenbank (Online Aerospace Supplier Information System) der International Aerospace Quality Group zuzugreifen.
Aktivitäten von Nippon Express
In September 2011, Nippon Express became the first Japanese forwarder to acquire AS9120 certification. This same certification was obtained in November of that year by Nippon Express USA, an overseas subsidiary of Nippon Express, and in France (Nippon Express France). In February 2017, a Nippon Express location at Narita, the key airport for the Tokyo Metropolitan Area, was also certified.
