Panoramica AS9120
L’AS9100 è uno standard del sistema di gestione qualità per il settore aerospaziale. Basato sullo standard ISO9001, l’AS9100 presenta requisiti aggiuntivi specifici per questo settore. Nippon Express ha ottenuto la certificazione AS9120, facente parte della serie AS9100 e assegnata a società di logistica, distributori rivenditori, società commerciali e altre società non manifatturiere funzionali alla catena di fornitura del settore aerospaziale.
I distributori certificati AS9120 hanno il privilegio di accedere alle aziende sul database globale OASIS (Online Aerospace Supplier Information System, sistema di informazioni sui fornitori aerospaziali online) gestito dall’International Aerospace Quality Group.
Attività di Nippon Express
In September 2011, Nippon Express became the first Japanese forwarder to acquire AS9120 certification. This same certification was obtained in November of that year by Nippon Express USA, an overseas subsidiary of Nippon Express, and in France (Nippon Express France). In February 2017, a Nippon Express location at Narita, the key airport for the Tokyo Metropolitan Area, was also certified.
