アメリカ合衆国へ貨物を輸送する際には発送国（日本）において、船や航空機に貨物を積載する前に、アメリカ合衆国税関・国境警備局（以下米国税関）に対して運送品情報および荷送人・荷受入情報を送信し、発送国での積載前に米国税関の確認を得ることが全ての輸送会社に義務付けられております。

この手続きはお客様の引越荷物の輸送においても要求されるもので、当店はお客様から取得した船積情報の内、米国税関が必要とするデータ（お客様名、日米両地のご住所及びお電話番号、お荷物明細など）を米国税関へ事前送信致します。

一方、米国においては税関を含む全ての公的機関は「Freedom of information ACT＝情報公開法」という法律により、各公的機関が所持する情報を民間からの要請に基づいて開示することが義務付けられております。この制度を利用し、米国にて輸出入された貨物及び荷受人情報を、米国税関から合法的に入手し、有料で公開（書籍、各種データ媒体、ウェブなどにて）する業者が存在いたします。当店が米国税関へ送信したお客様データが、これらの業者から公開される可能性がございますが、米国においてはこれは合法となりますことをご理解いただきます様お願い申し上げます。当社から当該業者へお客様データを公開することは一切ございません。かかる事情を何卒ご理解いただきます様お願い申し上げます。(2010年4月）

When transporting cargo to the United States, all carriers are required to send shipment information and shipper and receiver information to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (hereinafter referred to as U.S. Customs) before loading cargo onto a ship or aircraft in the shipping country (Japan) and obtain confirmation from U.S. Customs before loading in the shipping country.
This procedure is also required for the transportation of your moving belongings, and we will send the data required by U.S. Customs(customer name, address and phone number between Japan and the United States, baggage details, etc.) to U.S. Customs in advance of the shipping information obtained from you.

On the other hand, in the United States, all public institutions, including customs, are required to disclose information held by public institutions based on private requests under the "Freedom of Information ACT = Freedom of Information Act".
There are companies that use this system to legally obtain information on goods imported and exported from the United States and consignees from U.S. Customs and publish them for a fee (in books, various data media, the web, etc.).

Please understand that the customer data we send to U.S. Customs may be disclosed by these vendors, but this is legal in the United States.
The Company will not disclose customer data to the relevant companies at all.
