Hi-Tech Nittsu (Thailand) Co., Ltd., to be renamed Nittsu Logistics (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

Hi-Tech Nittsu (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (head office: Bangkok, Thailand; president: Kazuhiro Tazawa), a subsidiary of Nippon Express Co., Ltd. (president: Kenji Watanabe), will be renamed Nittsu Logistics (Thailand) Co., Ltd., effective October 3, 2016, and will newly begin operations under that name.

Since being established in 1991 as a joint venture with a Thai company, Hi-Tech Nittsu (Thailand) has provided ocean cargo forwarding, customs clearance, domestic/cross-border truck transport, warehousing/distribution and other services from ten business locations in nine cities. Judging more responsive management essential to improving competitiveness and swiftly adapting to Thailand's dynamically changing business environment, Nippon Express has acquired its Thai partner's share and made Hi-Tech Nittsu (Thailand) a consolidated subsidiary.

Nippon Express regards Thailand as an important hub and, by restructuring operations and utilizing the diverse logistics services and networks of Nippon Express Group companies to develop new transport services and enhance logistics functions, it will endeavor to meet the total needs of customers and further expand its global logistics business.
