Nippon Express participates for the first time in the "25th ICOM (International Council of Museums) Kyoto Conference 2019"

Nippon Express Co., Ltd. (Mitsuru Saito: President) participated for the first time in the Kyoto's 25th ICOM (International Council of Museums) Kyoto, which was held in the Kyoto from Sunday, September 1 to Saturday, September 7.

The purposes of the ICOM are to promote the advancement of museums, and the ICOM General Conference is held every three years in various countries/regions.
The 25th ICOM General Conference, held for the first time in Japan, was 4,590 participants, the largest number ever, from 120 countries and regions.
We are a cosponsor of this conference, and the Fine Arts Business Division and Nittsu Shoji Co., Ltd. cooperate with each other to participate in an exhibition.
In addition to exhibits of storage containers and packaging materials, we also promoted high quality transportation service of cultural properties and artworks through images of the transport of Buddhist statue.
In our booth, we had a demonstration of the packaging of Buddhist statues, and many people gazed the craftsmanship.
