Nippon Express (H.K.) holds 40th anniversary ceremony

Nippon Express (H.K.) Co., Ltd. (Yohei Kase, Director; hereinafter, "NEHK"), a local subsidiary of Nippon Express Co., Ltd. (Mitsuru Saito, President), held a ceremony in Kowloon to commemorate its 40th anniversary.

Among the nearly 200 people attending the ceremony were distinguished guests such as Ambassador and Consul-General Mitsuhiro Wada from the Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong and Deputy Executive Director Raymond Yip of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, as well as representatives of customer and partner companies closely tied to Nippon Express. Representing Nippon Express Co., Ltd., were President Mitsuru Saito, Executive Vice President Yutaka Ito, and Managing Executive Officer Tatsuo Sugiyama (Regional General Manager, East Asia Region).

At the ceremony, NEHK Director Kase offered his thanks to the many customers, affiliates, partner companies, and employees who had supported NEHK over the previous four decades, and expressed his enthusiasm about the company's future: "With the flows of people, goods and money in the Greater Bay Area(*) expected to grow even more in future, the 40th anniversary we are celebrating today also marks a new start."

Nippon Express President Saito remarked: "We will be helping to further develop logistics connecting Hong Kong, Macau, and Guangdong Province in the remarkably developing Greater Bay Area."

In working to bring about a better future for its customers and for Hong Kong, NEHK will continue contributing to society through logistics as a global logistics company.
