IVE is a provider of vocational education in Hong Kong as well as a member institution of the Vocational Training Council (VTC), an advisory body to the Hong Kong Government, and all IVE students take logistics-related courses (air cargo management, global logistics, etc.).

NEHK has been awarding scholarships to outstanding IVE students annually since 2015, and last year accepted student interns from IVE as part of its efforts to assist in the education of highly-skilled personnel.

Hong Kong has held the world's top place in air cargo throughput for eight consecutive years (as of 2018) and ranks seventh in ocean container volume (also as of 2018), firmly establishing its place as one of the leading global logistics hubs. Expectations are high for further increases in logistics demand in the burgeoning Greater Bay Area.

NEHK will be celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, a year that will also mark a new start for the company, and NEHK will continue actively undertaking social contribution activities to bring about a better future for Hong Kong.
