(Mitsuru Saito, President), has established a branch office in the Finnish capital of Helsinki that opened for business on Monday, June 17. This latest addition has expanded the coverage of the Nippon Express Group's overseas network to 303 cities in 47 countries/regions.
The Scandinavian nation of Finland has traditionally made use of its wealth of forestry resources to advance its key paper, pulp and lumber industries, which have been complemented by its metallurgical and machinery industries, but recent years have also seen the information and telecommunications industry become a primary industry.
By opening its own branch in Finland, APC Sweden hopes to improve its operational quality and customer service as it leverages the advantages it enjoys in transport between Scandinavia and Asia to meet the needs of the many Swedish and other Scandinavian companies setting up business operations in Finland.
