In October 2021 Nippon Express became the first Japanese forwarder to open a branch (Belgrade Branch) in Serbia. This branch provides services to meet the diverse logistics needs of customers in the mobility and other industries doing business in Serbia or in Central/Eastern Europe.
Ambassador Kovač was greeted on her arrival at the Head Office by President Mitsuru Saito and Senior Managing Executive Officer Toshiro Uchida. Friendly discussions ensued on a wide range of topics, including Nippon Express's global expansion, the position of Serbia within Central/Eastern Europe and the pursuit of closer ties in future.
Nippon Express will continue expanding its logistics services in Central and Eastern Europe to meet the logistics needs of customers around the world.
