NX GROUP has been part of the Singapore–Japan relationship for more than 50 of its 60 years. Here is our story in Singapore.

Since 1973: Over 50 Years in Singapore

In 1973, we established Nippon Express (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. as the Group’s second overseas subsidiary. NX Singapore celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2023, and Singapore has remained at the core of our business in the region.

Regional Headquarters for South Asia & Oceania

Today, Singapore is home to Nippon Express (South Asia & Oceania) Pte. Ltd., our regional headquarters, which oversees air and ocean freight forwarding, logistics support and heavy cargo transport across the region.

Connecting People, Businesses and Regions

From Singapore, we will continue to connect people, businesses and regions through logistics, creating new value and supporting the sustainable growth of both countries and the wider region.

SJ60 Musubi Singapore-Japan Festival 2026

Message

It is a great honor for us to sponsor the SJ60 flagship event commemorating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Singapore.

Singapore is expected to become an even more prominent presence in global logistics, as evidenced both by its port and airport expansion plans and the agreement between Singapore and Malaysia on the ‘Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone’ initiative.

Accordingly, the NX Group has also positioned Singapore as a key hub in its global strategy from which it will continue to provide a wide range of logistics services. In the midst of a changing global market, we seek to achieve sustainable growth by developing alongside Singapore as it assumes its role as a control tower for global logistics.

The NX Group has been operating in Singapore for over 50 years and has grown with the support of our many customers and business partners as well as other pertinent organizations. We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us over the years.
