1. Pre-move Survey
Our experts will arrange a time with you to complete a pre-move survey of your home, our teams will checking the volume of your belongings, any items may request specific handling/packing, remind you the restrict, prohibit items for importation in destination, explain our removal services...etc.
2. Estimation
Feel free to talk with us about your budget or company's allowance and other issues. We would like to submit a quotation after assessing your situation.
3. Schedule Setup
Initially by sorting your belongings into three categories:
Accompanied good -These are goods you will take you as you will require them just prior and just after the move. Air Freight - These are items you will need soon after arrival. The use of consolidate cargo flights by Nippon Express helps keep cost to minimum. Sea Freight - This is the reminder and in most cases the bulk of items to be moved. We will then discuss your requested moving date, your date of departure and your roughly date of delivery in destination.
4. Cardboard Boxes
Subject to your requested that is able to deliver some cartons/packing material in advance for your pre-packaging, please refer to below details for a different types of carton boxes.
Small Boxes
- 52 x 26 x 40 cm, 2 ft3 capacity for sea freight;
10 kg capacity for air freight
For small items or small, heavy items (books, albums, CDs, DVDs, decorative items, etc.)
Medium Boxes
- 52 x 51 x 40 cm, 4 ft3 capacity for sea freight;
20 kg capacity for air freight
For daily necessities, clothing, tableware and kitchen utensils
Large Boxes
- 80 x 51 x 26 cm, 4 ft3 capacity for sea freight;
20 kg capacity for air freight
For clothing (suits, coats, dresses, Japanese clothing)
5. Day of the Move
Nippon Express experts bring their ample experience to your current home to confirm the belongings you will moving out. Then, they package and ship them and prepare packing list. Since this is the way we operate, we ask that you should set apart which items is belonging to landlord such as key, remote controller and any electric appliances ...etc and keep away the valuable articles such as cash, wallet, passport, plane ticket, watch, jewelry...etc.
6. Secure, Dependable Outer Packaging
We make sure to maintain safety as we package your belongings in boxes (outer packaging) that are yours alone. This allows you to return to your home free of worry about your belongings.
