Important points to consider when moving (Japan)
Please confirm your budget and regulations.
First and foremost, it's important to determine whether the amount of luggage you wish to transport falls within your budget or your employer's regulations.
When you come to view the property, please let us know your approximate budget and preferences.
There are items that are prohibited from being imported or stored.
Please note that some items may be prohibited or restricted from being brought into Japan, may not be accepted as moving goods, or may be subject to taxation.

Examples: Counterfeit goods, items regulated by the Washington Convention, items that violate the Firearms and Swords Control Law, etc. - Items that cannot be accepted
Examples: spray cans, gas canisters for portable stoves, aroma oils, and other items marked as highly flammable.
★Please also be aware of items that may be subject to customs duties.
Cigarettes = 200 or more cigarettes, alcohol = 3 or more bottles of 750ml wine, new furniture purchases of 200,000 yen or more, etc.

Please be careful when sorting your belongings on the day of your arrival.

Remember to double-check your belongings beforehand to ensure that valuables, passports, airline tickets, and any owner-owned items are not mixed in with your luggage.
It is important to insure your belongings.
We will handle your valuable cargo with the utmost care to ensure it is safe and trouble-free, but insurance is also an important consideration in case of unforeseen circumstances. You will be asked to fill in the insurance amount on the packing list required for customs clearance of your cargo.
You must declare this information upon returning to your home country.
For customs clearance of your luggage, you will be required to submit a "Declaration of Unaccompanied Baggage" at your arrival airport upon your return to Japan. Further details will be provided during your inspection.


Receiving in Japan
Once we receive your luggage, it will take approximately 3 weeks by sea freight and approximately 1 week by air freight to be delivered to your home in Japan. Please note that depending on your return date and the calendar (public holidays and consecutive holidays) in your departure and arrival locations, it may take longer than the above-mentioned days.
