Nippon Express Korea has depended on large-scale logistics warehouses in local cities such as Gimpo, Inchon, and Busan to provide total logistics services for imported cargos. Each of the warehouses is equipped with suitable structures and logistics equipment like in-bond warehouses and Temperature/humidity control warehouse. It applies the WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and Shuttle (Web-based Inventory Control Systems) which make it possible conduct effective warehousing-unstoring works and inventory control.
It has used its Nippon Express Worldwide Information Systems to make active response to global logistics such as managing giving and receiving orders internationally, exchanging invoice data, controlling inventory at major warehouses.

Warehousing:
Importing cargos → Customs clearance → Arriving at a warehouse → Inspection, Checking damage → Unstoring → Keeping (managing location)

Unstoring:
Closing the order of unstoring → Picking → Packing → Delivery (Door-to-door delivery, truck, quick service) → Receiving

BWT (Bonded warehouse transaction) Service

This is referred to as a way of selling commodity after bringing in imported cargos to an in-bond warehouse of an import country and after a contract for selling them is signed, under the supervision of an exporter.

3PL service that is customized by customer and product

This is referred to as a way of committing all the processes of logistics but product manufacturing to a professional company in order to reduce logistics-related costs. It is a kind of service to run an efficient operation of logistics between producer and seller by making a third person conducting logistics and then keeping and treating cargos according to a customer company’s product’s characteristics.

Cross-docking service

This is referred to as a system for delivering warehoused cargos to customers directly, instead of keeping them in a warehouse. It is to increase the efficiency of logistics in addition to cost reduction, by removing the processes of keeping and handling cargos.

This is to maximize the transparency of the tasks of warehousing and unstoring and the efficiency of warehouse tasks by using a barcode to manage all items related to warehousing and unstoring.
