Every year, we are extremely busy with moving reservations from March to May.
Some people apply as early as six months in advance.
Please apply as soon as possible.

1. Weather-related precautions
   In the Philippines, unexpected events such as sudden heavy rains or typhoons may necessitate delays or interruptions to work, potentially requiring longer working hours. Please allow ample time when planning your move.
2. Traffic Precautions
   Traffic congestion is frequent in the Philippines. We will contact you if the start time of your move is delayed, and we appreciate your understanding.
3. Important information regarding condominiums
   Moving requires a work permit. Informing the condominium management in advance about your move will help ensure a smooth process. In some cases, you may need to obtain work permits or removal permits (gate passes) beforehand.
4. Important information regarding carton boxes
   Leaving cardboard boxes in storage for extended periods can attract insects. While we regularly fumigate our cardboard boxes, this isn't feasible for most households. We recommend disposing of the cardboard boxes as soon as possible after your belongings are delivered to your new home.
   NX Philippines offers an unpacking and unboxing service upon delivery of your package (however, customers are generally responsible for storing their packages).
   We can also collect empty boxes at a later date (see T. Can you collect waste materials?), but to get your belongings sorted out as quickly as possible, we highly recommend using our box removal service.

In some condominiums and villages in the Philippines, there are restrictions on the date and time for delivery and pickup services.
Some condominiums prohibit work on Saturdays and holidays, so it's necessary to check before deciding on a moving date.

Examples of condominium regulations
Some condominiums have strict regulations regarding moving out for security reasons.

1. Work is restricted before 8:00 AM and after 5:00 PM on weekdays.
2. Work is restricted all day on Saturdays.
   Work is restricted to the morning only, with no work permitted after lunchtime.
3. Work is restricted all day on Sundays and public holidays.

It's best to start about a month to a month and a half before your return or assignment date to allow for some leeway.
If your return to Japan or relocation has been decided suddenly, we can visit you for a site inspection immediately and arrange for pickup the following day (this may not be possible depending on the order situation).
During the peak season from March to May each year, last-minute bookings may not be available as requested, so we recommend booking as early as possible.

If you would like us to pack your items in advance, we will send you a box of the size listed below, along with a complete set of packing materials.
Please contact us by the day before your desired delivery date. We will be unable to deliver if you are not present at the time of delivery.

We also stock golf cartons.
We will bring a hanger carton for clothes that can be hung on hangers on the day of the move, but please let us know in advance if you need one.

1. Valuables such as jewels, precious metals, cash, and securities.
2. Items that cannot be recovered through insurance, such as sentimental items.
3. General household waste
4. Hazardous materials (petroleum products, propane gas, etc.)
5. flora and fauna

We will provide full coverage for your shipment. In the event of any accident with the goods we have picked up, we will compensate you by purchasing a replacement, repairing the item, or providing cash. For items sold as a set or pair, only the lost or damaged item will be covered. Please note that the following items are not covered by insurance.

1. Damage caused by intent or gross negligence
2. Damage caused by natural wear and tear, inherent defects, or changes in the nature of the goods.
3. Damage caused by natural disasters
4. Scratches, abrasions, and paint peeling on vehicles (cars, motorcycles, bicycles, etc.)
5. Tuning adjustment of musical instruments
6. Damage to clothing due to stains and insect infestation.
7. In the case of electrical products, if the exterior is undamaged, what is the damage in the event of a malfunction?
8. Other terms and conditions apply, as per the insurance policy and exclusion clauses.

We usually require notification within 1-2 weeks, and complaints made after that time may be difficult to process.

Whether you pack the items yourself or an NX employee does, we will pay the insurance amount up to the declared insurance amount.

Yes, it is possible.
However, items purchased within the last six months may be considered new and subject to taxation.
In principle, goods cannot be imported without paying taxes (consumption tax and customs duties) at the customs office of the destination country.
Please note that even if six months have passed since purchase, unused items may still be considered new.

I can send it.
Since these items will be subject to taxation and inspection, please fill in the item name and price in detail on the packing slip.
Additionally, there may be restrictions on the quantity of certain items (such as soap) that can be brought in. Please contact us for details.
(Note) Chocolates may melt. Please carry them in your hand luggage if possible.

Import quantity restrictions may apply to pharmaceuticals and contact lenses.
Restrictions vary depending on the destination, so please contact us for details.

You want to send back only the items you brought but decided you didn't need, but since you live in the Philippines, these will be treated as regular cargo.
It would be quite expensive, so I don't recommend it.

Please turn off the power and defrost the appliance by the day before your moving day.
Also, please refrain from turning on the power for half a day after moving the device, as this may cause malfunctions.

For example, we can arrange for the disposal of bulky waste such as old cupboards and study desks (additional charges apply).
Please contact the person in charge in advance. Also, we cannot accept general household waste.

Your belongings can only be cleared through import customs after you submit a separate baggage declaration form upon entering Japan.
Therefore, after you enter Japan, your package will be delivered approximately one week by air freight and 10 to 14 days later by sea freight (if it has already arrived at port).
Please note that you usually cannot receive your package the day after your return to Japan.

If your shipment from Japan includes a lot of storage space, such as chests of drawers or cupboards, prioritize this delivery. This will allow you to secure storage space before the sea freight delivery. Use this time to clean and check for any defects. It's best to wait 2-3 days between the sea freight delivery and the storage delivery to allow time for repairs or additional purchases.
Receiving both deliveries at once can make cleanup difficult.

Your items can be stored free of charge for one month at NX's ambient temperature warehouse in the Philippines and for one month at NX's bonded warehouse in Japan (a total of two months). After that, storage fees will apply. The "warehouse" referred to here is an ambient temperature warehouse, the same temperature as the outside air.
Additionally, we can arrange for temperature-controlled warehouses (with air conditioning) upon request. However, storage fees will be incurred from the day of delivery if you choose a temperature-controlled warehouse.

It is possible, but please note that company regulations may require you to bear the cost yourself.
Also, please sort them in advance.
For example, please specify that boxes 1-10 should be delivered to house A, and boxes 11-15 should be delivered to house B.

Of course, we will deliver it to you.
Please be sure to provide the recipient's name, address, and phone number in advance (additional charges apply).
Please note that depending on the amount of belongings, it may not be possible to complete the work on the day of the move.

If you contact us in advance, we will come to collect your waste materials. However, we cannot guarantee a specific time.

We will search for and return your belongings as long as they are in our warehouse. Our workers take care not to pack items such as keys and air conditioner remotes. However, if they are in a small container or mixed in with other items, they may be packed without being noticed. Please be sure to check your belongings before the work begins and place them in a location where they will not be packed.

When packing for sea freight, ask the Japanese staff member to double-check your belongings to make sure you haven't left too much for air freight.
When weighing items for air freight, volumetric weight is used, meaning the weight is determined by the size of the package. Packed items can be surprisingly heavy. For items that are not urgent, it's best to send them by sea freight.

Once you get used to living in a condominium in the Philippines, you tend to forget how big Japanese houses are.
There are countless examples of mistakes, such as a sofa not fitting through the front door or a large piece of furniture like a chair taking up an entire room.
Please take another look at the layout of your home in Japan and consider whether the furniture will fit.
Furthermore, in some municipalities, the disposal of bulky waste is either a paid service or requires a reservation, which can be quite inconvenient.
NX Philippines can also assist with the disposal of bulky waste, so please consult with our Japanese staff.

1. I accidentally put my passport in my moving boxes.
2. I accidentally put my savings of 600,000 yen in an airmail package.
   Passports, airline tickets, valuables, banknotes, securities, etc., must always be kept with you.
3. Upon arriving in Japan, when it was time to play golf, I realized the Philippine membership tag was still attached to my club.
   Please double-check whether you removed the membership tag before packing.
4. My computer data was lost.
   Always make sure to back up your important data.
5. I packed a large box full of books, and it became so heavy that no one could move it.
   Please place books and documents in our smaller boxes, such as our S-boxes.
6. I purchased brand new furniture, but it wasn't delivered to my home until the day I moved.
   Please carefully check the delivery schedule.
   Also, please note that deliveries in this area are not always on schedule, so we recommend purchasing early.
7. When I sent some herbal medicine, it was found that some of it violated the Washington Convention and almost all of it was confiscated.
   Please carry any medications purchased locally in your hand luggage. Due to quantity restrictions and ingredient regulations, customs clearance may be impossible.
8. I mistakenly sent back the unaccompanied baggage declaration form that was supposed to be submitted in Japan to the Philippines.
   The procedure for declaring unaccompanied baggage is very important. A representative will explain it to you, so please pay close attention.
   Also, some people become complacent after arriving in Japan and forget about the necessary procedures, which can cause problems later on. Please be sure to follow the steps carefully.
9. I put raw food in it, and now it's infested with insects.
   Perishable goods cannot be packed in your luggage. Please take extra care when preparing your luggage.
