NX-SOLUTION Temperature-Controlled Transportation Service: Environmentally Friendly Temperature-Controlled Containers

This environmentally friendly temperature-controlled transport service uses reusable temperature-controlled containers that achieve both high temperature control performance and reduction of CO₂ emissions in the supply chain. Please use it for international air transport of high-quality cargo such as pharmaceuticals.

Solution Overview

French company Ambarizo has a 30-year track record of providing temperature-controlled containers for the transport of pharmaceuticals and vaccines, and has established a container collection and reuse network in more than 80 countries and regions worldwide. The NX Group is the first Japanese logistics company to partner with Ambarizo. By combining Ambarizo's high-performance reusable containers with NX's global logistics network, they are realizing a high-quality solution that balances the strict temperature control quality required for medical and pharmaceutical transport with the reduction of CO₂ emissions throughout the entire supply chain. *The diagram below is available in Japanese only.

Implementation effects

  • High temperature control capabilities make it suitable for pharmaceutical transportation.

By combining high-performance insulated containers with PCM (thermal storage material), we have obtained ISTA 7D international standard validation. We support three temperature zones—freezing, refrigeration, and constant temperature—meeting the stringent quality requirements demanded for medical and pharmaceutical transportation.
  • Reducing CO₂ emissions from the supply chain

By repeatedly using the containers, CO₂ emissions can be reduced by up to approximately 90% (*). *This is a theoretical reference value calculated by Ambarizo.
  • Reverse logistics service

We operate a container collection network in 80 countries and regions worldwide. Used containers are collected upon arrival. This also contributes to reducing the disposal costs associated with conventional disposable containers.
