When transporting personal belongings, souvenirs, convention materials, etc., as cargo upon returning to (entering) Japan, please send them yourself as "unaccompanied baggage."
* When sending unaccompanied baggage, customs duties and import consumption tax are generally exempted. However, new items, items considered to have been used for a short period, and food products may be subject to taxation.
* The duty-free allowance applies to the total quantity of items carried in as personal belongings and items sent as unaccompanied baggage. Any items exceeding the duty-free limit will be subject to taxation.
Please note that if you do not declare your unaccompanied baggage upon returning to your home country, you will be subject to customs duties and consumption tax.
After your return to Japan, we will contact you by phone if necessary, and once customs clearance is complete, we will deliver your order within a few days. (Delivery before your return to Japan is not possible.)
Regarding the declaration procedure for unaccompanied baggage (Matters that customers must complete)
- Please fill out the required information on the baggage and unaccompanied baggage declaration forms (2 copies) that will be distributed on your return flight. If you do not receive a form on the plane, you can fill it out after arrival at the customs counter at your arrival airport.
