NX-GREEN Calculator is a web-based tool that allows you to easily calculate CO₂ emissions from international transport simply by entering the origin, destination, and cargo volume. It can compare multiple modes of transport, including sea, airplane, rail, and road. With CO₂ emission reductions now a pressing need in transportation, NX's tools can contribute to your transportation planning.
International Shipping CO2 Calculation Tool (NX-GREEN Calculator)
What you can do with NX-GREEN Calculator
- You can specify almost any city, port, airport, or train station worldwide as your departure or arrival point.
- It is also possible to compare CO2 emissions from multiple modes of transport.
- It is also possible to calculate CO2 emissions in a more detailed transportation simulation by specifying transit points (up to 5) and the mode of transport between those transit points.

How to Use Our Services
The NX-GREEN Calculator completes the calculation and comparison of CO₂ emissions in four steps.
1. Transport mode search
We will search for a shipping mode that matches your shipping requirements and display it according to your specified comparison criteria.
2. Adjustment of transport mode selection
If you want to limit the transport mode, uncheck the box in the selection.
3. Designation of transit points
If you wish to specify a waypoint, please use the "Waypoint" button.
- If you specify an intermediate stop, please limit the (1st) transport mode to one.
- You can add up to five intermediate stops.
- Please select only one mode of transport between transit points.
4. Calculation and verification of CO2 emissions
This calculates the CO2 emissions that would result from transportation under the specified conditions.
- At the top of the screen, you can compare the total transport distance and CO2 emissions for each selected transport mode in a list.
- At the bottom of the screen, you can view detailed CO2 emissions for each route by selecting the "Transportation Mode" tab.
