The Kannon Logistics Center opened in December 2021. It occupies part of a multi-tenant warehouse built on the former site of Hiroshima West Airport in Nishi Ward, Hiroshima City. Each floor offers approximately 4,000 tsubo of space.
The center is conveniently located for transportation and features a layout designed with future digital transformation (DX) in mind. It serves as a domestic logistics hub and is also equipped to handle ocean freight containers, making it suitable for import and export operations.

The Kannon Logistics Center has the facilities and experience to handle all types of cargo. On some days, it utilizes its truck berth, which can accommodate up to 32 trucks, to handle large-scale transportation, receiving multiple trucks at once.
On another day, a 40-foot shipping container arrived, and the dock leveler, which allows for efficient loading and unloading from the container, was activated to carry out the storage operation.

Reason 1: Excellent access to transportation and logistics.
Located approximately 3km from Hiroshima Port and 5km from the center of Hiroshima City, it is situated in an area that facilitates both domestic transportation and import/export operations.
Furthermore, its convenient location, approximately 10km from the Sanyo Expressway's Itsukaichi and Hatsukaichi interchanges, makes it attractive for transporting goods not only to the Chugoku and Shikoku regions but also to a wide area including the Kansai and Kyushu regions.
Part 2: A layout designed as a state-of-the-art logistics facility
A spiral rampway and other features that allow direct access to each floor have been installed, ensuring smooth and speedy loading and unloading of goods.
Furthermore, because the facility was designed by a major developer, they have a proven track record of implementing DX (Digital Transformation) in other facilities with equivalent specifications, including the introduction of robotics technology and reliable and efficient inventory management using the latest WMS (Warehouse Management System).
Part 3: A plan that takes into account flood control and greening.
The Kannon Logistics Center is also promoting measures to prevent flooding.
By raising the ground level and warehouse floor, the floor height will be higher than the assumed maximum tide level in the "Hiroshima City Flood Hazard Map (Storm Surge Edition)" (average sea level of Tokyo Bay + 4.4m), thus reducing the risk of flooding caused by typhoons, high waves, etc.
Therefore, it can be used not only as a logistics center, but also as a base for risk management.
