Collection of the Logistics Museum- Nippon Express’s fine-art transportation services began with the "San Francisco Exhibition of Ancient Japanese Art Commemorating the Peace Treaty" in 1951. Since then, we have transported a wide variety of artworks for more than seven decades. Transportation enables artworks to be shared with a wider audience. We have supported our customers’ desire to share the beauty of art with as many people as possible.

Extensive experience in various transportation services
From paintings and crafts that can be carried by one person to dinosaur fossils and murals spanning several meters, we have transported a wide variety of "artwork." We also have extensive experience in transportation both domestically and internationally.
While it's common to see artwork arriving from overseas in Japan, there are also many opportunities to export artwork from Japan for exhibitions held abroad. In recent years, in particular, with the growing momentum to promote Japanese culture overseas, various genres of art, including not only antique art but also oil paintings and contemporary art, are being exported from Japan. For "Japonismes 2018," held to commemorate the 160th anniversary of Franco-Japanese friendship, we handled the transportation for seven exhibitions and were also involved in transportation related to other events. We also dispatch technical staff overseas to handle the installation and dismantling of artworks at the venues.

Leveraging our expertise in both art transportation and relocation, we handle numerous museum and art gallery relocations. We can move not only your stored artworks but also office equipment and other items. We can also provide storage for artworks during the relocation period in our dedicated art warehouse (*).
