Moving within Singapore
If you've decided to move within the island, the first thing to do is contact NX Singapore.
NX Singapore's island-wide moving service is a full-service type where we pack your belongings ourselves on the day of your move. As moving professionals, we support our customers so that they can return to their normal lives as quickly as possible after moving into their new home. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate requests during peak moving seasons to Japan (around March each year).
Can I get the carton box in advance?
If you would like us to pack your items in advance, we will deliver carton boxes of the following sizes and a complete set of packing materials.

Can you collect used cardboard boxes and packaging materials?
If you contact us in advance, we will come to collect the items at the date and time you specify.
Can you dispose of my furniture?
We charge a fee for the disposal of bulky waste such as furniture. If you require this service, please inform our staff during the initial inspection. We cannot accept general household waste.
How do you use the refrigerator?
Please turn off the power and defrost the appliance by the evening before your moving day.
Are there any items you cannot handle?
The following items cannot be handled:
- Valuables such as jewels, precious metals, cash, and securities.
- Large trees, special trees
- General household waste
- Hazardous materials (propane gas, etc.)
- pet
Please tell me about shipping insurance.
We will provide full coverage for your shipment. In the event of any damage to the goods we collect, repair will be the primary option. For items sold as a set or pair, only the lost or damaged items will be covered.
Please note that the following items are not covered by insurance.
- Damage caused by intent or gross negligence
- Damage to the goods due to natural wear and tear, inherent defects, or nature.
- Damage caused by natural disasters
- Scratches, abrasions, and paint peeling on vehicles (cars, motorcycles, bicycles, etc.)
- Tuning adjustment of musical instruments
- Damage to clothing due to stains and insect infestation.
- In the case of electrical products, if the exterior is undamaged but the product becomes unusable, what is the damage?
- Other terms and conditions of the insurance policy and exclusion clauses apply.
In case of damage or loss, please contact us within 1-2 weeks; claims made after a longer period may be difficult.
Weather-related precautions
Singapore is prone to sudden heavy rainfall. This may force us to suspend work or cause unexpected delays. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
