For packing, our highly skilled staff will visit your home to perform professional interior packing.
A Japanese staff member will accompany the team to prepare the packing list.
For shipments by sea, after the initial packing at your home, your belongings will be transported to a Nippon Express warehouse for export-standard exterior packing before all final export arrangements are made.

Regarding the site visit

We will assess the total amount of household goods in your home and confirm the volume of items for each transportation method.
For those employed by companies, if there are company regulations, we will check whether the amount of luggage falls within those limits.

  • Visit and site inspection
  • Remote site visit
We will check the photos of your package that you attached via LINE chat or email.
We will use TEAMS' video call feature to confirm your package and discuss details.

Packaging material delivery

Packing is included in the moving day service, but if you wish, we can deliver some packing materials in advance.

Sorting

The key to a successful move is sorting. Please sort your belongings before the pickup date.
The sorting stickers will be delivered along with the materials.

Pickup work

NX Singapore staff will come to your location to pick up and pack your items.

  • On the day of the work, please make sure that you have your passport, valuables, and items to be returned to you by the owner (remote control, keys, documents, etc.) with you before the workers enter the premises.

Please be careful, as if it gets mixed in with your other belongings, it will result in a loss of valuable time before your departure, as you will have to unpack all the boxes again or come to our warehouse to pick it up.

[Important] Upon your return to Japan: Please declare any unaccompanied baggage.

Upon your return to Japan, please be sure to complete the following two procedures.

  • Receive an entry stamp in your passport.
  • Declare unaccompanied baggage at the arrival airport.

Arrangements for import customs clearance and delivery.
