Logivision (vibration-proof transport service)

Logivision is a service that reduces vibrations during transport by incorporating special "damping coil springs" with vibration and shock damping effects into transport platforms such as pallets and containers, as well as the products themselves. It supports all modes of transport: land, sea, and air. Here, we introduce vibration damping achievements in three representative implementation cases (international air transport, international sea transport, and rail transport).

Case Study ①: International Air Transport of Large-Scale Exposure Equipment (Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment)

We handle everything from dismantling large exposure equipment costing over a billion yen each at our domestic factory to international air transport and installation overseas.

The customer's previous vibration-damping materials only mitigated vertical impacts, but they appreciated and adopted Logivision because it can also mitigate lateral and parallel vibrations. While typical packaging processes involve impacts of 1-9G, using vibration-damping pallets reduced the impact to less than 1G.

Case Study 2: International Maritime Transport of Astronomical Telescopes

All transportation from domestic research institutes to overseas observatories (a combination of air and sea transport, total transportation time approximately 3 months).

We transported a delicate astronomical telescope, requiring careful handling, overseas using a combination of air and sea transport after purchasing Logivision equipment. Logivision demonstrated high vibration damping throughout the entire process, from transport to installation. We have also received feedback that they would like to continue using Logivision for future triangular transport of lenses.

Case Study 3: Rail Transportation - Ticket Vending Machine

Logivision is testing ticket vending machines, which were previously transported using air suspension vehicles, in collaboration with rail transport.

We conducted a test transport of ticket vending machines, normally shipped in air-suspension vehicles, by mounting them in a roll box incorporating Logivision and transporting them by rail between Tokyo and Fukuoka over seven days. We were able to reduce the maximum vertical impact by approximately 75%. Furthermore, the combination of rail transport and Logivision makes it possible to halve transport costs compared to truck transport over the same distance (under our assumed conditions).
