Logistics Technology Innovation

NX Group advances research, development, and field trials that leverage cutting-edge logistics technologies, introducing them into on-site operations to improve productivity and support automation. By integrating digital technologies with logistics operations, we are building next-generation workplaces that enhance operational excellence.

Innovating Future Logistics

NX Group is testing and deploying a wide range of advanced technologies to address on-site needs such as labor shortages, enhanced safety, labor savings, and improved productivity. These initiatives include Automated Guided Forklifts (AGFs), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), quantum computing technologies, remote-operation systems, and CO₂-emissions visualization tools. Some of these technologies have already progressed from proof-of-concept to implementation, delivering tangible results in our operations.
NX Group will continue to drive an integrated approach—from research to on-site implementation and operation—to build the foundations of next-generation logistics.

  • Eco-Trans Navi (CO₂ Emissions Visualization Solution)

NX Group has developed Eco-Trans Navi, a tool that visualizes CO₂ emissions from transportation as companies place increasing emphasis on decarbonization. By entering information such as origin/destination and cargo weight, users can instantly compare lead times and CO₂ emissions across different transport modes—supporting evaluation for modal-shift initiatives. The solution has been highly regarded by customers for its ability to quantify potential CO₂ reductions based on past transportation records, supporting more informed decarbonization strategies.

  • Automation Solutions Using AGFs and AMRs

To enhance efficiency and reduce labor needs at logistics centers, NX Group is introducing Automated Guided Forklifts (AGFs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). AGFs fully automate nighttime shipping preparation operations, while AMRs work alongside employees to partially automate picking tasks. These technologies contribute to labor savings and productivity improvements, supporting more efficient and sustainable ways of working.
