NX Thai Logistics' moving service has been transporting countless memories for over 30 years, every year. With approximately 60 staff members, including many Japanese staff and Thai staff and office staff who can read and write Japanese, we provide thorough support to our customers. You can rest assured even during peak moving seasons such as March-April and December.
With NX's extensive network of 900 locations in 396 cities across 56 countries and regions worldwide, we offer comprehensive door-to-door (integrated multimodal transport) services to ensure a smooth international move. Whether you're moving from Japan to Thailand, Thailand to Japan, or anywhere else in the world, all moves are handled by NX branches (and some agents). We also coordinate customs procedures in your destination country, providing advance guidance through our worldwide network. In many countries, we offer support in Japanese.
The process of moving to Japan
We will guide you through the process from applying for your move to delivery to your new address as described below.

Regarding the site visit (*Required)
We will conduct a remote site visit (via TEAMS video call) to assess the total amount of household goods in your home and confirm the amount of items to be transported using each method.
For those employed by companies or other organizations, if there are company regulations, we will check whether the amount of luggage falls within those limits.
We are currently conducting remote site visits using Microsoft's TEAMS app (we can also use Google Meet if using the TEAMS app is difficult).
- * Please note that the operation may differ depending on the model of your smartphone or tablet.
- * We sincerely apologize, but due to security reasons, we are unable to conduct remote site visits using apps such as LINE or ZOOM.
- * If requested, a site visit is possible depending on your residential area.
Regarding prohibited import items
There are some items that cannot be shipped as part of a moving shipment.
If prohibited items are discovered at Japanese customs, they may be confiscated, destroyed, fined, or subject to delays in customs inspection.
Please read the list of prohibited items carefully and take sufficient care to ensure that your luggage does not contain any prohibited items.
We also provide detailed information on what you can and cannot bring, including food, household goods, and souvenirs, as well as taxable items.

Delivery of packaging materials
Packing is included in the service on the day of the move,
If you wish, we can deliver some of the packaging materials in advance.
If you are unsure about how to pack fragile items, please contact our staff or have our packing staff pack them for you on the day of delivery.

Sorting luggage
The key to a successful move is sorting.
Please sort your belongings before the pickup date.
If you would like sorting stickers, please consult with the person in charge.
Pickup work
Our packing staff will come to your location to pick up and pack your items.
- * If prior notification to the condominium is required, please inform the reception desk of your residence of the scheduled removal date.
On the day of the work, before the workers enter the room,
Please check that your original passport, valuables, and any provided items are not mixed in with your moving belongings.
I will enter the room after confirming.
Also, if any of the items provided are mixed in with the items being packed,
Since this would require us to reopen all the boxes, potentially delaying the shipping of your package, we kindly ask that you take extra care in managing your valuables.
On the day of the event, one of our representatives (a Thai interpreter or a Japanese person) will prepare the packing list.
Please carefully review the contents and then sign.
- * For items requiring a price, please enter the amount that can be repurchased.
[Important] Upon your return to Japan: Please declare any unaccompanied baggage.
Upon your return to Japan, please complete the following two procedures at the arrival airport.
- Receive an entry stamp for Japan in your passport.
- Declare unaccompanied baggage at customs.
At the arrival airport customs, you will need to submit two unaccompanied baggage declaration forms with the same information. After the customs officer verifies them, one stamped unaccompanied baggage declaration form will be returned to you.
Please be sure to receive it.
Submit the required documents to the designated counter at the arrival airport.

You will need to mail it to the relevant branch yourself at a later date.
- * Please note that the designated counter may change due to renovation work within the airport.
Import customs clearance and delivery arrangements
When your package arrives in Japan, NXNX Japan will contact you to inform you of its arrival and arrange a delivery date.

Moving to another country
Leveraging NX's unique global network, which connects 900 locations in 396 cities across 56 countries/regions, we will support your move.
In some countries, you may not be able to import your belongings if you do not have a visa and work permit in place. However, NX has local NX offices that have the latest customs information for countries other than Japan, so you can entrust your move to us with peace of mind.

Japanese Standard Packing

Packing will be handled by experienced staff trained by NX International Moving. They will visit your home and pack your belongings on-site. A Japanese or Thai staff member who can read and write Japanese will accompany them to create a packing list in Japanese.
After you pack your belongings at home, we will take them to our warehouse, apply export-grade packaging for sea freight, and arrange for their export.
