Moving day (packing)
The moving day has finally arrived.
Are your belongings sorted perfectly?
On moving day, a team of movers and a sales representative who speaks Japanese will arrive. The movers will split up and begin packing in each room simultaneously.
Therefore, please give prior instructions to the sales staff member present at the start of the work regarding any items that require special packaging.
The workflow for the day will be as follows:
- I go around the entire house and mark the items that need to be packed.
- The workers will pack the items.
- As each box is packed, the sales staff member present will create a packing list.
- Please fill in the insured amount for each item on the packing list and sign it.
- Once packing is complete, please do a final check to make sure nothing has been forgotten.
- Please check the number of boxes, and then we will load your belongings onto the truck.
- We will receive your customs documents.
My bag containing my passport, keys, and other important items, as well as my clothes, have been packed up!
There are cases like this.
Please check everything again before packing and be sure to store it in a separate location.
Regarding the insured amount to be entered on the packing list
- This is the maximum amount of insurance payment you will receive in the event of damage to your luggage.
- Please list expensive items separately.
- Please note that emotional or subjective insurance values for albums, photographs, documents, etc., are not covered by this insurance.
- For high-value items such as works of art, please consult with our sales representative in advance.
- Insurance procedures will be handled by the branch in the country where the product is delivered.
