Declaration of unaccompanied baggage (Japan)
Since July 2007, all individuals entering Japan have been required to submit a "Declaration of Unaccompanied Baggage" at Japanese airports. The declaration forms are distributed at airports and on board aircraft. If you are sending unaccompanied baggage, i.e., moving belongings, you must indicate that you have unaccompanied baggage and submit two identical declaration forms.
